Book Your Infusion

Nourishment at the
Cellular Level.

An infusion puts nutrients straight into the bloodstream, which skips the limits of what the gut will absorb. That part is simple physiology and is not in dispute. What an infusion then does for you depends on which one, at what dose, and whether you were short of anything to begin with.

We will not tell you a drip fixes fatigue, reverses ageing or detoxifies you. For much of what IV therapy is sold for, the human evidence is thin, and we would rather say so than take your money on a promise we cannot keep.

Every protocol here starts with a consultation and, where it matters, labs. Sometimes the honest answer afterwards is that an infusion is not what you need. We say that too.

Anti-Aging & Energy

NAD+ Therapy

NAD+ is a coenzyme your cells use in energy metabolism and DNA repair, and levels do fall with age. What is not established is that raising them by infusion treats ageing or any specific condition — our own write-up says exactly that. People commonly report energy and clarity; those reports are not trial evidence.

High-Dose Infusion

High-Dose Vitamin C

Intravenous dosing reaches blood levels an oral dose cannot, and that is the genuine pharmacological difference. Beyond that, be careful what you are told: the trial evidence in healthy people is limited, and we make no claim about it treating any disease. G6PD deficiency is a contraindication, so we test before a first infusion.

Antioxidant

Glutathione

A peptide your liver already makes, and one of the body’s main antioxidants. Given intravenously it reaches levels an oral dose cannot, because glutathione is largely broken down in the gut. What it then does is less settled: the human trial evidence is limited, and we make no claim about it treating disease or lightening skin.

Cognitive & Metabolic

Methylene Blue

An oxidation-reduction agent that can carry electrons in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The interest in cognition and energy comes largely from cell and animal work; the human evidence is limited. It also carries a boxed warning for a serious interaction, so we screen before we offer it.

Methylene Blue
Infusion Therapy.

Methylene blue is one of the oldest synthetic drugs still in clinical use, and the one most often oversold. It is an oxidation-reduction agent: it accepts and donates electrons, which is the basis of the interest in mitochondrial support.

We would rather set the record straight than sell past it. Methylene blue is FDA-approved for one condition — acquired methemoglobinemia — and for nothing else. The claims you will see about focus, energy and longevity rest mostly on cell and animal studies; the human trials are few and small. Promising is not the same as proven.

It also carries a boxed warning, the strongest a label can carry, for a potentially fatal interaction with serotonergic medication — SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs and opioids. Separately, G6PD deficiency is a contraindication. Both are reasons we review your full medication list and screen you before offering it, and reasons we sometimes say no.

A comparison of the one approved use of methylene blue, acquired methemoglobinemia treated intravenously in hospital, against the uses it is marketed for such as focus and energy, which rest mostly on cell and animal studies. Below, a warning that it is a strong MAOI and can cause serotonin syndrome with an SSRI, SNRI, MAOI or opioid.
Methylene blue has one approved indication. Everything else is off-label.

NAD+ Therapy,
Without the Overclaim.

NAD+ is the infusion we are asked about most, and the one most oversold across this industry. Here is where it actually stands.

The biology is real. NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in energy metabolism and DNA repair, and concentrations decline with age. The leap people make is from that fact to a treatment claim, and the human evidence does not support the leap. There is no good trial showing that NAD+ infusions treat ageing, chronic fatigue, long Covid or neurodegenerative disease.

What we can tell you honestly: many patients report better energy and mental clarity afterwards. That is worth something, and it is also exactly what you would expect from an unblinded treatment that takes a few hours in a quiet room. We cannot separate those, and neither can anyone selling it to you.

It is also genuinely uncomfortable for some people. Infused too quickly, NAD+ causes chest tightness, flushing, cramping and nausea. The fix is a slower rate, which is why a full dose can take two to four hours and why you should tell the nurse as soon as you feel it.

What a Session
Actually Involves.

Before: consultation and screening

A physician reviews your history, your medication list and, where it matters, your labs. High-dose vitamin C and methylene blue both need G6PD testing first. This is also where we tell you if an infusion is the wrong answer for what you came in with.

During: a cannula and a quiet room

A nurse places a cannula, usually in the forearm. Most infusions run thirty to ninety minutes; NAD+ runs longer. You are seated, monitored, and free to work or read. Say something immediately if you feel chest tightness, flushing or nausea — the rate can be slowed.

After: what to expect, honestly

Most people walk out and carry on with the day. Bruising at the site is common. Some feel tired. If an infusion was going to produce a dramatic change, it would rarely do so on the first visit, and we would be suspicious of a clinic promising otherwise.

Who Should
Not Have This.

Infusion therapy is not harmless, and the clinics that treat it as harmless are the ones to avoid. These are the people we turn away or refer on:

  • Heart failure or significant kidney disease. A fluid load is a real cardiovascular event for these patients.
  • G6PD deficiency. Rules out high-dose vitamin C and methylene blue. We test rather than ask.
  • Anyone on serotonergic medication. SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs and some opioids make methylene blue unsafe. This is a boxed warning, not a caution.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding. For most of these agents the safety data simply does not exist.
  • Anyone looking for a substitute for a diagnosis. Persistent fatigue deserves a workup, not a drip.

Questions
People Ask.

How much does IV therapy cost in Jacksonville Beach?

Pricing depends on which infusion and whether labs are needed, so we quote it at consultation rather than advertise a figure. Ask us for the full cost of a course, not just a single session.

What is NAD+ IV therapy actually for?

NAD+ is a coenzyme used in energy metabolism and DNA repair, and levels fall with age. Raising them by infusion has not been shown to treat ageing or any specific disease. People often report improved energy and clarity, but that is not the same as trial evidence.

How long does an NAD+ infusion take?

Longer than most infusions. NAD+ is run slowly because pushing it faster causes chest tightness, flushing and nausea. Expect two to four hours for a full dose, and tell your nurse the moment you feel it so the rate can be reduced.

Do I need a blood test before an IV infusion?

For high-dose vitamin C and for methylene blue, yes. Both require G6PD testing first, because a deficiency raises the risk of red cell breakdown. We also review your full medication list before methylene blue.

Is IV therapy safe?

Placing a cannula and infusing fluid carries real if uncommon risks: bruising, infection at the site, vein irritation and fluid overload in people with heart or kidney disease. The specific agent adds its own. That is why this is done under clinical supervision rather than at a party.

Who should not have IV therapy?

People with heart failure or significant kidney disease should not take fluid loads without specialist input. G6PD deficiency rules out high-dose vitamin C and methylene blue. Methylene blue is also unsafe alongside SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs and some opioids.

Do you offer glutathione IV in Jacksonville?

Yes. Glutathione is one of the body’s main antioxidants and is poorly absorbed by mouth, which is the argument for giving it intravenously. Be careful what you are promised about it: the human evidence is limited, and we do not offer it for skin lightening.

Do you offer mobile or at-home IV therapy?

No. We infuse in clinic, where a reaction can be managed properly.

Where are you, and which areas do you serve?

Our clinic is in Jacksonville Beach, and we see patients from across Duval County and the beaches, including Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, Ortega and Fernandina Beach.
